1. 연료 현대화 - fuel modernization. Ex. 연료현대화 전시회가 시청 광장에서 열렸다: A fuel modernization exhibit was held at the City Hall Plaza.
2. 연석회의 - a joint meeting. Ex. 연석회의를 열고 최근의 경제동향을 심의하다: hold a joint meeting to consider the recent economic trend.
3. 연장전 - baseball 에서는 extra frames; an extra-inning game이라고 한다. Ex. 그 시합은 연장전이 되었다: The game went in an extra frame.
4. 연합고사 - unified entrance examination. Ex. 연합고사 성적에 의해 고등학교 합격자를 선발하다:  screen highschool applicants on the basis of their merits in the unified entrance examination.
5. 연합전선 - united front. Ex. ~에 대항하여 연합전선을 펴다: form a united front against ~.
6. 영사조약 - consular treaty. Ex. 행정부는 브라질과의 영사조약 체결을 적극 추진할 예정이다: The Administration plans to push hard for a consular treaty with Brazil.

14. 외기노조(外機勞組) - the Foreign Organization Employes Union(FOEU). Ex. 외기노조는 4일간의 임금인상 파업에 들어갔다: The Foreign Organization Employes Union went on a four-day strike for wage hike.
15. 외설음반 - a ponographic disc. Ex. 외설음반과 테이프의 제작: the production of ponographic discs and tapes.

17. 외화대부 - foreign currency loan. Ex. 정부는 어제 외화대부금리를 년 12퍼센트에서 15.5 퍼센트로 인상하여 오늘부터 시행키로 했다. 이는 일반 시중 은행의 대출금리와 같은 수준이다: The government yesterday raised the foreign currency loan interest rate to 15.5 percent per annum, effective today, from 12 percent. This is the same level as the ordinary commercial bank loan rate.
