1. 수자원 - water resources. Ex. 수자원 개발 - development of water resources. 수자원 개발공사 the Water Resource Development Corporation. Ex. 한국의 경제발전을 위해서는 수자원 개발이 시급하다: The development of water resources is urgently needed for our enonomic growth.
2. 수출입은행 - export-import bank; exim bank. Ex. 수출 촉진을 위해 수출입은행을 설립하다: set up an export-import bank to help boost exports.
3. 수출정보센터 - Trade Information Center.
4. 수출 진흥 회의 - export promotion conference. Ex. 대통령은 중앙청에서 있는 월례 수출진흥 회의 석상에서 전 세계적인 경기침체가 통계상으로 국내 경제에도 심각한 영향을 미치고 있다고 말하고 아울러 현재 경제 상태의 심각성을 올바르게 인식하라고 강조했다: In meeting of the monthly export promotion conference at the Capital, the President said that the impact of the worldwide recession was affecting the national economy in terms of statistics and called for correct recognition of the seriousness of the present economic situation.

7. 습관성 의약품 - habit-forming medicine. Ex. 습관서 의약품의 판매를 금지한다: ban sales of habit-forming medicine.
8. 시국간담회 - a meeting for consultations on the current situation; a conference to consider the position of the country.
9. 시안(試案) - a tentative plan(draft); a draft policy; a (tentative) outline. Ex. 대일청구권 8억 달러 사용에 관한 시안: a tentative plan for use of $800 million in goods and services due under the Korean-Japan property claims settlement funds.
10. 시장조작 - market operation. Ex. 재무부는 증권시장의 정상화를 위해 공개시장조작을 제외했다: The Finance Ministry has proposed open market operation to help normalize the stock market.
11. 시한(時限) - deadline. Ex. 선거부정 수사를 위한 특별법의 입법 시한: the deadline for drafting a special bill on election fraud probing.
12. 신서의 비밀(信書의 秘密) - the privacy of personal correspondence. Ex. 국민의 한 기본권인 신서의 비밀은 헌법으로 보장되어 있다: The privacy of personal correspondence, one of the basic rights of the people, is guaranteed by the constitution.
13. 신원조사 - an imquiry into one's identity(=precedents). Ex. 신원조사제도의 폐단을 시정하다: correct evil practices of the system of inquiry into one's identity.
