1. 사상범 - ideological criminal. Ex. 사상범들에 대한 단속의 법적 근거를 부여하기 위해 법률을 제정하다: enact laws to give legal grounds for the control of the ideological criminals.
2. 사설 학원 - private educational institutes.
3. 사실심리 - a hearing; fact-finding interrogations. Ex. 육군 군법회의는 반정부 음ah혐의를 받고 있는 9명의 장교들에 대한 사실심리를 끝냈다: The army court-martial closed its hearing of nine army officers suspected of plotting against the government. / 어제 공판에서 고등군법회의는 피고인들에 대한 사실 심리를 모두 끝냈다: The appellate court-martial, in yesterday's trial, completed fact-finding interrogations of the defendants.
4. 사양산업 - a decling industry. cf. [신흥산업] a rising industry. Ex. 원양어업은 세계적으로 사양산업화했다: The deep-sea fishery has become a decling industry the world over.
5. 사채 - a private loan(money lending); a personal debt(loan). cf. 공채 a public(government) loan. Ex. 사채를 쓰다: use private loans. /사채를 주다: extend private loan (to business enterprises). 사채 대부업자에게 영업소득세를 부과하다: impose on private money lenders business income tax.
6. 사표수리 - accept the resignation. Ex. K 대학교 재단이사회는 어제 L 총장의 사표를 수리하는 한편 M 재단이사장에게 후임자 선임을 일임하였다: The K University board of trustees accepted the regisnation of president L and empowered board chairman M to appoint ths successor.

13. 산업재해 - industrial hazards(mishaps). Ex. 노동청의 발표에 따르면 현재의 사고발생율이 계속되는 경우 2차 경제개발 5개년 계획기간 산업재해에 의한 경제적 손실은 7백 2억을 돌파할 것으로 보인다: Economic losses caused to the nation by industrial hazards will hit the level of 72,000 million won during the period of the second five-year plan.
14. 산업훈장 - the Order of Industrial Merit. Ex. 산업훈장은 국가산업개발에 탁월한 공을 세운 사람들에게 수여된다: The Orders of Industrial Merit are awarded to those who render outstanding services toward developing the national industry.
15. 상가아파트 - apartment-store building. Ex. 4개의 맘모스 상가아파트로 되어 있는 2동의 건물과 이들을 연결하는 구름다리가 어제 준공되었다: Two structures of the planned four mammoth apartment-store buildings and an overpass connecting the two bulidings, were dedicated yesterday.
16. 상납 -  bribe from subordinators. Ex. 매월 100,000원씩 상납받았다: to take(accept) 100,000 won monthly as bribe from subordinators.
17. 상도의(商道義) - business(trade) morality. Ex. 상도의 앙양 enhancement of business morality.

19. 상습도박 - habitual gambling. Ex. 서울시경은 어제 상습적으로 도박을 해 온 9명의 경관을 심문했다: Nine policemen were questioned yesterday at the Seoul police headquarters on charges of habitual gambling.
20. 상호불가침조약 - mutual non-aggression agreement. Ex. 남북간의 상호불가침조약을 체결하다: conclude a mutual non-agression agreement between the south and the north.
