1. 개전의 정 - sign of repentence(penitence](penitence보다 repentence가 더 강한 뜻을 지닌다). Ex. 그들은 만일 그가 진정으로 개전의 정을 보인다면 정부당국이 그의 석방결정을 내릴 것이라고 말했다: They said that the government authorities would decide to release him if the showed himself a true sign of repentence.
2. 개표 - ballout counting; the official counting of votes.
3. 개항장 - an open port; a treaty port. Ex. 정부에서는 일본에서 발생한 [콜레라]에 대비해 각 개항장에 예방조치를 취할 것을 지시했다: The Government ordered open ports to take precautional measures against cholera broken out in Japan.
4. 개헌 - constitutional amendment(revision). Ex. 개헌을 제안하다: initiate a constitutional amendment/개헌 발의를 둘러 싼 여야간의 논쟁: Byzantine argument on the utterences around constitutional amendment.
