금년도 한국의 경제성장은 당초 목표에서 크게 벗어나지 않을 것이다. 경제기획원 장관이 말한 바에 따르면 금년도 우리나라의 국민 총  생산고 성장율은 약 7%를 거뜬히 이룩할 수 있을 것이라고 한다. 정부에서는 모든 행정력을 동원해 금년말까지 도매물가 상승율을 20% 이하로 묶어두겠다는 것이다.

1. 첫 문장은 [한국의 경제성장율]을 주격으로 하여 꾸며본다.
2. 두 번째 sentence는 ~ said (that) 이나 According to ~ 로 시작하여 (a) It is almost certain that the country could achieve ... (b) seven percent of GNP growth (rate) could easily be attained ... 로 연결하여 본다.

The Economic Planning Minister said it is almost certain that the country is able to achieve a GNP growth rate of about seven percent this year. He said the government will exert all of its administrative power to peg the wholesale price increase at less than 20 percent by the end of this year.

According to the Economic Planning Minister, about a seven percent GNP growth rate could be easily attained this year.
