1. 주택용지 - a housing lot. Ex. 건설부는 해당 도시의 시장들이 책임지고 저소득층 도시인들의 주택용지 확보를 요구할 것을 결정했다: The Construction Ministry has decided to require pertinent city mayors to secure low-income citizens' housing lots under their responsibility.
2. 주한미군 감축계획 - the reduction plan for American forces stationed in Korea.
3. 준여당 - a quasi-government party; (친여 정당) a pro-government party. Ex. 그는 M당은 이미 야당이 아니라 준여당에 지나지 않는다고 말했다: He said the M-party was no longer an opposition party but a quasi-government party.
4. 준전시체제 - a semi-war systme. Ex. 치안국은 전경찰국장에게 연말을 기해 발생할 수 있는 난질서를 바로잡기 위해 전국 경찰에게 준전시체제를 갖추도록 지시했다: The National Police instructed provincial chiefs to post policemen in a semi-war system of preparedness to tackle any disorder that may erupt during the year-end period.

9. 중흥 - restoration; revival; reestablishment. Ex. 민중의 고아가 된 연극의 중흥을 위해 궐기하다: rise ofr the restoration of dramatic performance that has been separated from the populance.
10. 즉결재판 - a summary trial. Ex. 교통법규를 위반한 350명이 즉결재판에서 벌금형을 받았다: 350 jay-walkers were fined on a summary trial.
11. 증거인멸 - destruction of evidence. Ex. 증거를 인멸하다: destroy evidence (of one's crime).
12. 증권은행 - a securities bank. Ex. 증권매매의 자금조달을 위해 증권은행을 설립하다: set up a securities bank for the financing of stock transactions.
13. 증언, 감정법안 - a testimony and appraisal bill. 16. 지불보증 - certification of payment. 형용사는 이탈리아 말인 del credere를 쓴다. Ex. 지불보증계약 a del credere contract. 지불준비제도 - legal reserve requirement. Ex. 시은 지불준비제도를 인상하다: to raise the legal reserve requirement ratios for the nation's commercial banks.
