1. 그는 장서가 많다 - He has a very large library.
2. 오자가 전혀 없는 책은 거의 없다 - There is hardly any book that has on misprints.
3. 이 소설은 아주 잘 팔린다. - This novel sells awfully well (like hot cakes).
4. 이 책은 현재 절판이다 - This book is out of print now.
5. 잘 팔리는 책이 반드시 좋은 책은 아니다 - Those books which sell well are not necessarily good books.
6. 이 책을 학교 도서관에서 대출했다 - I have checked out this book from the school library.

24. 세상에는 여가가 없어서 독서를 못 한다고 불평하는 사람들이 많다 - There are many people in the world who complain that they have no spare time to(are too busy) to read.
25. 이 잡지에는 정치나 산업에 관한 재미있고 유익한 기사가 많다 - This magazine is full of interesting and instructive article dealing with polities and industry.
26. 어떤 책이 잘 팔리면 꼭 그것을 모방한 책이 또 나오게 마련이다 - When some good-seller is out, books in imitation of it will never fail to appear one after another.
27. 어떤 사람을 사귀는가와 마찬가지로 어떤 책을 읽는가를 보고 그 사람됨을 알 수 있다 - You can tell what a man is, only by the company he keeps, but also by the books he reads.
