<the + 형용사>는 다음과 같이 두 가지 용법으로 사용됩니다.
1. the + 형용사 = 복수 보통 명사
예) the rich = rich people / the sick = sick people ...
2. the + 형용사 = 추상명사
예) the beautiful = beauty
